  • Areas of Treatment: Most any area of the body with skin can be treated with Halo. The most common Halo treatment areas at TLJ are face, neck, décolleté, hands and arms.

  • Frequency of Maintenance Treatment: 1-3 treatments as early as 6 weeks apart with one annual maintenance treatment as desired

How does it work?

ClearSilk uses innovative thermal laser technology specifically designed to revitalize skin at the molecular level.

What does that actually mean?

ClearSilk’s laser technology works by depositing heat beneath the dermis, raising the temperature of a target area to a predetermined level. It targets chromophores, the area in a molecule that dictates pigmentation by absorbing visible light, and uses the heating process to energize the electrons stored within.

This triggers your body’s natural response to high temperatures, which is to begin clearing pigment and reducing vascularity as it prepares for higher levels of visible light. This process also tightens the skin, evens skin texture, and leaves skin tissue looking younger and more vibrant. Since the lasers involved don’t increase the amount of visible light you’re exposed to, you receive all the benefits of this natural process, with none of the normal follow-up stress inherent in this bodily reaction.

FAQs

Is any downtime required?

ClearSilk Treatments require no downtime! Once the treatment is complete, you can put makeup on and go about your day. Follow your physician’s instructions, though, as you may be more sensitive to UV exposure following the treatment.

Everyone is eligible for ClearSilk treatments! Unlike some laser treatments, ClearSilk is safe for all skin tones and types, being both noninvasive and nonablative.

Patients report few to no side effects from receiving ClearSilk treatments. The most common listed side effects are redness and slight skin irritation, though this fades within a few hours. You should always consult your physician for complete information regarding the outcomes of treatment.

Many patients require four to six treatments to see optimal, sustained results. For further details about expected results and the schedule of your treatments, you should consult your physician.
