The Concierge Internal Medicine Model

TLJ Aesthetics MD provides aesthetic (cosmetic) treatments for our patients and no memberships are required.  Other services including Internal Medicine, Women’s Health & Wellness (includes Hormone Replacement) are membership options, concierge style.

There are two divisions of our medical practice at TLJ. We provide primary care (Internal Medicine – Family Medicine – Women’s Health) which is a concierge model and membership is required to participate. We provide aesthetic care as well which does not require any kind of membership.

There is no need to transition between our two medical concierge programs. The care we provide at TLJ overlaps in these memberships.

Practices vary in areas of interest and expertise in internal medicine.  At TLJ Aesthetics MD, here are some examples:

Preventative Care
Women’s Health (annual exams, pap smear, hormone replacement therapy, contraception, urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness)
Skin cancer screening, detection, biopsy
Skin concerns including but not limited to rosacea and acne

Women’s Health concerns fall under the category of internal medicine at TLJ. However, feminine rejuvenation (a treatment that addresses urinary incontinence, vaginal dryness and/or laxity, laxity of labia and orgasmic function) is a common service we provide for both Internal Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine patients. At TLJ, you simply get the added benefit of many years of medical experience treating these issues when you elect to receive feminine rejuvenation treatments with us.

Yes; patients participating in TLJ Concierge Primary Care complete physical annually (including pap when appropriate).

TLJ Concierge Primary Care benefits are those outside the scope of insurance plans and agreements. As such, our patients are responsible for insurance coverage, copays, & coinsurance costs at TLJ. In addition, there is an annual fee for membership. (with annual, semi-annual, and monthly payment plans available per patient preferences).

Of course! You choose along the spectrum of services we provide. We are here to guide you so you make the right decision for you.

Typically, there is a short waiting list for participation in TLJ Concierge Primary Care, depending upon the provider. We strictly limit the number of patients per provider panel to roughly 10% the traditional primary care provider’s panel. This ensures that we can provide patients with the kind of care of service we feel you deserve. Connect with us to determine our current status.

Our founder, Dr. Terry Jacobson, is a board certified internal medicine physician, providing Internal Medicine, Primary Care in Issaquah since 1998. We are happy to again accept new patients for these services with the addition of more providers and continue to serve Issaquah and the surrounding areas.

At TLJ, we are happy to be able to provide both primary care (internal medicine – family medicine) and aesthetic care to our patients. Our patients choose what services they want along the spectrum of care offered here. Early on, we saw the connection between looking and feeling good and how the two impact the wellbeing of our patients. Dr. Jacobson’s expertise includes internal medicine, dermatology, women’s health, and pharmacology and has built a team of outstanding providers to help you along your journey to better health and greater confidence.

TLJ Concierge Primary Care is located at HighMark Medical Center. Our providers provide internal medicine and family medicine, both considered to be primary care specialties. An area of expertise included is women’s health and wellness, where hormone replacement and related issues are addressed, always with science and evidence based approach to ensure your safety and optimal experience.

At TLJ Concierge Primary Care, we believe that a small private practice, better communication, and an intimate experience are big advantages in providing excellence in medical care. Because our practice is private, our providers may choose from any number of specialists in many different organizations, depending upon the problem and the expertise of the specialist. We are not pressured to choose from one organization that we work within. Here, you have freedom and options to choose from.

At TLJ, we love women! And we believe their needs are frequently overlooked and left unaddressed. Dr. J saw the need to ensure there is a safe, intimate, and comfortable place for women to be educated about their health, perimenopause, menopause, and beyond. We hear from women all the time how frustrated they feel with the care and lack of education they have experienced previously. Addressing issues specific to women can make all the difference in their quality of life and vitality. We are passionate and happy to be a part of that journey.

The process is simple to get started at TLJ. For Aesthetic care, simply contact our office for a comprehensive aesthetic evaluation and learn how we can address your aesthetic concerns . For Primary Care (Internal Medicine – Family Medicine), contact our office for a “Meet & Greet Visit” with one of our providers to see if our primary care practice is a fit for you and your healthcare needs. TLJ Concierge Primary Care charges its members a monthly fee of $230-. This may also be paid semi-annually or annually, depending upon the preferences of the patient.

TLJ Concierge Primary Care provides a different experience in primary care (internal medicine & family medicine) by limiting each provider’s patient panel to roughly 10% that of a traditional patient panel. This ensures that you have lengthy appointment times when needed so you never feel rushed or leave with questions unanswered. Our providers and care team are more available to you and making appointments in a timely fashion is the standard of care here. The monthly fee allows for these and other benefits that are above and beyond what your insurance provides.
